The RF UniPoint System is an on/off controller for up to 8 zones (Similar to the wall mounted UniPoint);

Features:

• Manual and programmable on/off time control

• 5-1-1 zone on/off program (5 Weekdays + Sat/Sun)

  o Auto spill/ bypass – spill zone is forced open if all zones are switched off
  o Temperature override– opens all dampers if air supply temperature is lower than the low limit or exceeds the high limit
  o After power loss all zones automatically return to previous on/off state when power restored

• Managing airflow so that the (cool or warm) air is only directed where you need it creates energy savings and greater comfort
• The programmable timer means that the zones can be set to open and shut at specific times for maximum efficiency

Plus the following additional features:

• No messy wall installation problems
• Variable frequency (so it doesn’t interfere with the neighbour’s unit)
• RF remote control handset
• Backlit LCD screen (on the handset for zone status and parameter display
• Turbo zone for quick cooling of one designated room or space

Zone Balancing

Every ducted system needs to be balanced so that the required amount of air comes out of each duct. The UniPoint RF allows all zones to be balanced easily by presetting the dampers to open by predetermined amounts, all managed by the handheld controller, giving better and more consistent flow to all rooms

This achieves two things:

1. The handheld controller makes it easier for your installer to check and adjust the airflow to each room from inside the room, helping him to give you the best efficiency and comfort.
2. If conditions change within your house (ie: redesign of internal walls) it is relatively easy to adjust the air flow to compensate (without having to climb into the roof space)
